UNIFORM INSPECTIONS
UNIFORM WEAR/INSPECTION: Uniform wear is a large part of the Air Force JROTC program. ALL cadets are required to wear the appropriate uniform each Wednesday, from the start of the school day until released. Make-up day for excused absences on uniform day is the first day back to school. There will be no uniform make-up for unexcused absences. Failing to wear the uniform on the assigned day will result in a “0” (zero) grade for that uniform day without a make-up opportunity. Multiple failures to wear your uniform will lead to disenrollment from the course.
Each week you will be inspected and receive a grade based on how your uniform looks and how you look while wearing your uniform.
The categories for the Air Force uniform inspection are:
1. Failure to wear the uniform (-140 points)
2. Filthy / Unclean (-80 points)
3. Incorrect Hair Style/Color (-50 points)

Cadets ordered to have their uniform professionally cleaned must present proof of cleaning prior to the next scheduled uniform wear date. Failure to comply with the uniform cleaning requirements may result in removal from AFJROTC.
